Training in higher education teaching and learning

In line with our strategic targets of enhancing the link between theory and practice in teaching which focuses on the realization of the AU motto “from theory to practice”, in the 2021/22 academic year we trained our academic management team on teaching & learning in higher education by Maansan Consulting Group led by Dr. Shafie Abdiaziz Haji Dhafe. This training prepared our staff to improve the lecturers through regular supervision and preparing our students for a better future.

The training workshop was conducted at the main campus of Abrar University. and took place from December 14 to December 16, 2021. Participants positively evaluated the training and gave some valuable suggestions for further improvement, both in the organization and in the work of some trainers.

As a consequence of great interest in training in our institution, the Academic Affairs office will organize other rounds of training for young lecturers and will be free of charge for teaching staff at Abrar University.
