The study and career counsellors can help you with information about studying at Abrar University and determine your strengths, abilities, personality, and values, and help you make decisions related to your career and life goals, as well as support you in seeing those goals achieved.
The student counselling mission is to create and maintain a safe, cooperative learning environment where each student may reach their full potential in all sectors of life—social, academic, career-related, and extracurricular. Counselling and related programs support students in recognizing challenges and difficulties, creating coping strategies, and achieving individual goals.
Career counselling is a process that will help you to know and understand yourself and the world of work in order to make career, educational, and life decisions related as well as support you in seeing those goals achieved. Career development is more than just deciding on a major and what job you want to get when you graduate. It really is a lifelong process, meaning that throughout your life you will change, situations will change, and you will continually have to make career and life decisions.
The goal of career counselling is to not only help you make the decisions you need to make now but to give you the knowledge and skills you need to make future career and life decisions. At our institution, after the students have completed their first degree, we look to them for postgraduate degrees to be more productive in the market.
