Abrar University represented by its Rector, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmed A. H. Kadle signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Red Sea University represented by Prof. Abdullahi Sheik Hassan, the president of the university on January 15th, 2022.

The MoU aims to facilitate and strengthen collaboration, encourage knowledge exchange and promote research, capacity building and dissemination of information on areas of mutual interests as well as supporting each other in contributing to the African Union’s Agenda 2063: The Africa we want and United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.

The agreement between the two universities was one of the outcomes of the 1st One Health Conference for Horn of Africa Universities (3rd – 5th January 2022), held by Amoud University at Rays Hotel, Borama, Somaliland.

The signing ceremony took place at the main campus of RSU in Bosaso, Puntland. We look forward to a productive and wonderful partnership in the years to come.
