The Times Higher Education (THE) released the Sub-Saharan Africa University Rankings 2023 on June 26. This first edition ranks 88 universities across 20 countries. An additional 33 institutions are listed because they provided data but did not meet our eligibility criteria to receive a rank, as reported by THE.

The Abrar family is proud to have achieved the No. 1 position among universities in Somalia and the 38th spot in Sub-Saharan Africa, according to the Times Higher Education SSA Rankings 2023.

This achievement is a testament to the dedication of the Abrar family, who have made significant contributions to teaching, research, innovation, and community engagement.
