Dr. Ahmed Adam Mohamed (Deerow), BSc. MSc. MPH, PhD.
Senior Health System Strengthening Advisor, Ministry of Health and Human Services
Public Health professional with over 12 years of experience working in Somalia, Led the implementation of various Projects, surveys, research, baseline assessments and evaluations, and participated in the development of M&E frameworks/plans at both project level and sector-wide. Academic experience with different Academic institutions including Somali National University, Mogadishu University, Benadir University,
Participated in developing different strategic plans and policies in diverse sectors including Health, human resource development and education, participated in the learn more details development of the health sector Strategic plan (2017-2021), national development Plan 2017-2019 and other sector plans.
Experience in teaching, training, coordinating and facilitating workshops and training, supervised and evaluated theses of number of postgraduate students, experience in delivering development strategic planning and design, Skills and experience in projects management, track record of delivering the monitoring and evaluation, Academic Qualifications in environmental studies, public health, and Administration, proven knowledge and capacity in Writing and editing, currently works as senior Advisor on Health system strengthening for the Ministry of Health and Human Service.
Research focuses on: Health Systems, Climate change and Health, and One Health.
