It is my great pleasure to announce that Somali One Health Centre of Abrar University will host the 1st Somali One Health Conference 2022 (SOHC2022) scheduled to be held from the 22nd to 24th March 2022 in Mogadishu, Somalia.
This One Health Conference, the first-ever to be held in Somalia, will bring together experts in the fields of human, animal, plant and environmental health to exchange ideas, present research activities, discuss topics in the field and share their experiences, and build partnerships in the One Health aspects.
Abrar University is a higher education institute in Somalia, established in 2014. Through our national and international outreach programmes, we continue to grow as an internationally recognized university, as well as many academic and research programmes with esteemed universities around the world. In hosting the first ever One Health Conference in Somalia, we continue our tradition of taking a leadership role in forging a stronger, more integrated, international university.
The portal for the submission of abstracts is open and we encourage all our colleagues to share their research and experience. Through the One Health approach, we will be better able to direct our collective knowledge toward the improvement of practice in facing global health and environmental challenges.
