Abstract Submission Guidelines
Please follow the submission guidelines below.
- Abstracts should only be submitted online.
- The deadline for abstract submission is
February 22, 2022extended to March 10, 2022. - All abstracts must be submitted and presented in English.
- Informative abstracts and critical abstracts are accepted.
- Please indicate one-two of the most relevant themes for your abstract from the conference sub-themes.
- Authors should indicate their presentation preference: oral or poster. The Scientific Committee reserves the right to decide on the final allocation and presentation method.
- Please send in a brief biography together with the Abstract (An example is given in the abstract template).
- Please download the abstract template and follow the format carefully.
- Documents received after the given deadline, due to any reason will not be accepted unless the deadline is extended.
- If you encounter any problems during the submission process or you do not receive any confirmation by email, please contact the Conference Secretariat at oh-conference@abrar.edu.so
- The notification of acceptance/rejection of the abstracts submitted will be sent to you via email.
If you need to receive a formal acceptance of your abstract in order to be funded to come to the conference, please write to the conference secretariat at oh-conference@abrar.edu.so and you will receive a prompt reply.
Submissions for presentation are invited on topics relating to the Conference theme – Building capacity to promote One Health in Action through (but not confined to) the following areas:
- Food- and Water-borne Pathogens
- Vector and Vector-borne Pathogens
- Food Safety and Antimicrobial Resistance
- Education and Capacity Building in One Health
- Environmental and Traditional Medicine
- Public Health Economics and Policy
- All submissions will undergo a rigorous review process based on relevance, originality, novelty, academic merits of work and clarity of presentation.
- The scientific committee will adopt a holistic perspective to review submissions and develop thematic relevance.
- Decisions of the scientific committee are final.
- All accepted papers will be presented either orally or through posters at the Conference.
- Submitting and approval of an abstract does not mean that you are registered for the conference. Please complete the online registration form.
All accepted abstracts will be published in the SOHC 2021 Abstract Book.
