Dr. Ahmed Abdulkadir Hassan-Kadle, BVSc, MSc, PhD, Postdoc.

Dr. Ahmed Kadle is the Rector of Abrar University, and professor of epidemiology in the College of Veterinary Medicine at Abrar University, Somalia. He also co-founded and currently serves as chairman of Oog Dairy Factory. He worked as a Veterinarian with the International Committee of the Red Cross in Somalia to strengthen Somali communities’ resilience by keeping their livestock healthy and productive. Dr. Kadle supports several communities and research organizations on a freelance basis, all of them working on issues related to livestock development. Dr. Kadle received his BVSc. and MSc. from the University of Bahri, Sudan, and his PhD and Postdoctorate from the Federal University of Parana in Brazil. His research activities focus on the epidemiology of vector and vector-borne diseases which have a Global One Health aspect.
