Prof. Dr. Abdalla Ibrahim is currently working as Vice-Rector for Research and Development and Professor of Parasitology at Abrar University, Mogadishu, Somalia. He also serves as Director of Abrar Research and Training Centre at the same University. He received his PhD (2015) and MSc. (2006) from Sudan University of Science and Technology, Khartoum, Sudan. His BSc. (1998) was from the University of Khartoum, Khartoum, Sudan, where he was awarded the University Prize for the Best academic performance in Biochemistry for the Intermediate year. His school certificate (1992) was from Hantoob Higher Secondary School, the best historically national school in Sudan. He is an active member of the Sudanese Veterinary Association (SVA), Khartoum, Sudan, and the Professional Association of Sudanese Higher Education Academic Staff, Khartoum, Sudan. His research area focuses on Parasitology and Epidemiology where he published about 61 Journal and conference papers and submissions to the International Gene bank as well. Continuously learning for improvement in the above research areas, Dr. Ibrahim attended about 36 international and national training courses and workshops. Dr. Ibrahim supervised 10 published Thesis (7 MSc., 1 PhD and 2 Graduation Thesis).
