It is my great pleasure to announce that Somali One Health Centre of Abrar University will host the 1st Somali One Health Conference 2022 (SOHC2022) scheduled to be held from the 22nd to 24th March 2022 in Mogadishu, Somalia.
This One Health Conference, the first-ever to be held in Somalia, will bring together experts in the fields of human, animal, plant and environmental health to exchange ideas, present research activities, discuss topics in the field and share their experiences, and build partnerships in the One Health aspects. Somali One Health Conference aims to bring scientists of different generations and disciplines professionals, and policy makers to exchange and share their knowledge, research innovations, and discuss future perspectives of One Health aspects in the globe including Somalia where taking action is needed. It also aims to enhance collaboration and networking among individuals and institutions working on One Health issues for a healthier world for everyone and for the Somali community in particular.
