Master’s and PhD scholarships at Brazilian universities (GCUB-Mob 2023)
The International Cooperation Group of Brazilian Universities (GCUB) has announced the Second Edition of the GCUB International Mobility Program (GCUB-Mob 2023) with 54 institutions in the country offering more than 1100 scholarships for master’s and doctoral programs for foreign students, scheduled to begin in 2024.
The Program aims to contribute to the development of high academic level students from the five continents, as well as promote university internationalization and strengthen international cooperation between Brazilian universities and institutions of other countries.
Application Requirements
a. Submit an individual scholarship application in Portuguese, English, Spanish or French.
b. Be a citizen of a State that maintains a diplomatic relationship with Brazil.
c. Not having Brazilian nationality.
d. Be in good health conditions (physical and mental) to carry out postgraduate studies.
e. Be able to finance extra expenses not covered by this scholarship (for example airfare, visa processing, and international medical insurance for the entire period of study).
f. Indicate the level applied for: Master or Doctorate.
g. Submit the previous certificates.
h. Each candidate can enroll in up to five Master’s or Doctoral programs, from different universities, preferably from different regions of Brazil.
